• Investigating the influences on individuals’ financial decision making
• Regulatory efficiency and adequacy in the context of the Australian financial services marketplace
• Trends in mortality and morbidity, and the implications for product development
• Adequacy and sustainability of Australia’s social security system, and its ties to superannuation
• Overall financial welfare of individuals, and the influences upon this
• Actuarial education, particularly the focus and skill development in Part III
